Welcome to an intimate, and insightful journey into the art of healing touch, where the ancient wisdom of love and the teachings of the Buddhist lineage guide us toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. This transformative journey is not only an introduction to the techniques of Thai Yoga massage; it is a deep dive into the philosophy that everyone possesses the innate ability to heal themselves and their loved ones. At the heart of healing lies the profound wisdom of love – the most powerful tool we have for nurturing and restoration.
This retreat is designed with the understanding that while participants will learn enough techniques to offer a 30-minute or 1-hour Thai-inspired massage, depending on the duration of the retreat, our primary focus is on cultivating the art of listening. Listening to the energy and the body's needs, channeling life energy and love through touch, and recognizing that a meaningful massage can be composed of just a few movements, provided they are delivered with love, attention, and attunement to the recipient's energy.
Guided by the four Buddhist precepts, aligned with the Asokananda tradition for which we hold deep gratitude, we embrace the power of nature, choosing wild, serene settings whenever possible, complementing our practice with meditation, yoga, chanting, dancing, and various practices aimed at clearing and nurturing luminous energy to share. Thus, our retreats are vegan, incorporating fasting initiation and secret recipes to enhance the five senses, deepening our ability to perceive and connect through touch.
This retreat offers a sanctuary for those seeking to explore their boundaries, find pleasure and relaxation through touch, and overcome the fears associated with intimacy. Serving also as an introductory step for those curious about the tantric path, this retreat is a profound experience of healing, connection, and personal evolution.
Designed for intimacy, from groups of four to ensure pairings, we provide materials for participants to continue their practice at home, fostering a community of learning and sharing. Group sharing sessions allow for questions, exchanges, and the organization of practice sessions, embracing the body's wisdom in giving and receiving.
